In the US, the hair plugs cost is about $3 to $7 per follicle. Again this varies from place to place. It also depends on the skill and experience of the physician. If you are going to get the procedure done you must check with patients who have also had it done to see how happy they are. Cosmetic surgeons always have a book with before and after pictures. Ask to see it.

One thing people always want to know is how do hair plugs cost. That is a hard question to answer because it varies so much. The big determiner is where you get the work done. For example if you do it in LA or New York it is going to be a lot more expensive than if you decide to do it in Baton Rouge. The problem is some people think they have to go to some big high priced famous surgeon from the cover of people magazine in order to get a good job done. This is just not the case at all. The cost of hair plugs varies from place to place with good work being done all over.
There are very competent surgeons all over the world who will be more than happy to do a fine job for you for half the cost of a famous surgeon or even one quarter the price. In fact, there is getting to be a big number of doctors in Brazil and Thailand who are doing a very good business with hair plugs. If you are looking to get a procedure done I would definitely look at whether or not these places would meet your expectations.
