How To Regrow Hair

As I said in the last post this blog is all about my search for the perfect method to regrow hair after it has fallen out. When a man loses hair in patches on his head, like at the crown or along the front sides (widow's peak) it is caused by male pattern baldness. The form of hair loss is called by a hormone called DHT. It is a derivative of testosterone. The excess hormones in the blood stream shut down the hair follicle manufacturing in certain places on the head. The funny thing is that a man can still have thick hair on some parts of his head and yet be bald on others.

The only real 100% method for getting a new head of hair is to have a hair transplant. There are several other methods that can be used but they are not a effective. I will cover all these other methods as we learn how to regrow hair on our journey to my hair restoration project. There are a lot of old remedies that ancient people used to regrow lost hair and we will explore those to see what works and what doesn't

Along with regrowing hair other people just want the hair they have to grow faster. If you want to learn how to make your hair grow faster we will cover that too. In general the average person's hair grows about one half an inch per month. There is not a lot you can do to change this unless you are suffering from some nutritional problem that you can solve.

We will look at all the nutritional aspects of hair loss and regrowth and answer some questions about things such as Biotin which is known as the hair loss vitamin.
